I turned in my census with only the required information, nothing extraneous. Got a letter in the mail telling me I was required by law to answer, and a second census form to fill in. I trashed it and am waiting for “them” to come for me. I think the first question on that census form should have been, “Are you an American citizen? If not, discard this form”. Why should non-Americans have input? Don’t you think it suspicious they didn’t ask? I figure it was because Obummer then would not have been able to fill it in!

What is the minimal amount of information we are required by law to give?

The Constitution requires the Census to count "the whole number of persons in each State." (14th Amendment, section 2). It is not limited to citizens.
