Pro Gun Sharron Angle Gains 20 Points In Race For Reid’s Senate Seat

Nevada --(AmmoLand.com)- In just one month, Republican U.S. Senate candidate Sharron Angle has surged twenty points in the polls in her bid to take on Nevada Senator Harry Reid in November.

According to a May 10-11 joint poll released by the Las Vegas Review Journal and Mason Dixon, Angle now leads anti-gunner Danny Tarkanian by three points, and is closing in fast on the other leading candidate, Sue Lowden.

Sharron Angle is strongly supported by Gun Owners of America Political Victory Fund, earning an “A” rating from GOA for her unwavering work defending the Second Amendment during her eight years in the state legislature.

The latest poll results are extremely encouraging for gun owners and sportsmen not only in Nevada, but throughout the country as well. Harry Reid continually uses his position as Majority Leader of the Senate to undermine the Second Amendment. In Sharron Angle, supporters of the right to keep and bear arms will have a tried, true and trusted friend.

With Sharron now rapidly rising to the head of the pack, it is more important than ever for gun owners across the country to get behind her campaign with as much generous financial support as possible.

Gun Owners of America is the only national gun rights organization opposing Harry Reid in the November elections. So please, stand with us as we stand with Sharron Angle in this important primary election.

You can go to www.sharronangle.com today to contribute and to learn more about this campaign.

Thank you for your support of the Second Amendment, and for any contribution you are able to provide Sharron Angle.

Sincerely, Tim Macy Vice Chairman Gun Owners of America Political Victory Fund 8001 Forbes Pl, Suite 102 Springfield, VA 22151 http://www.goapvf.org

I supported Tarkanian initially but after watching this race Sharron Angle clearly has more experience and is rock ribbed conservative and she is really running a great race. Sue Lowden though she is pretty and conservative is a walking opposition research soundbite machine. Bartering with chickens really left me doubting her plus she is spending lots of money and is losing ground in this race which should tell you something. I feel the same way about Carly Fiorina in CA though Lowden is heads and tails about Fiorina. Polls show any of the three candidates beating Reid and I think the issue of weather the money will be there to defeat him is not the question. He has made himself a focal point of everything that is wrong with Washington DC and the money will flow to which ever candidate wins the primary. I wouldn't be overly upset with any of the current candidates but as far as running the most classy and straight shooting campaign Sharron Angle wins that hands down and I believe she is earning the conservative vote and I hope she wins.

Yes she can so it isn’t even a hard choice.

“The latest Rasmussen Reports survey of Likely Voters in Nevada shows Reid earning 39% to 41% support, depending on his opponent, well below the 50% safe mark for incumbents.”

“...former Assemblywoman Sharron Angle, wins 48% to 40% for the Democratic incumbent. Angle, too, has consistently beaten Reid in head-to-head match-ups...”

Nope. Angle is the one candidate who can pull Harry’s biscuits out of the fire...

[Can she beat Dingy Harry?]

Not without help. Fortunately, I have written a book that crucifies Harry Reid. See here:

https://www.createspace.com/3432232

The problem is Harry Reid has a ton of money, a lot of people are afraid of him, and a lot of people suck on his teat. So anyone who says this won't be a close election is deluded. Fortunately, there is my book and another one in preparation that can be used to neutralize the Reid machine.

Sorry to 'pimp' my own book, but currently I see us losing to Harry without it. Reid is starting to move up in the polls and his ad campaign is slick - he is taking Lowden to the wood shed.

It sounds as if any one of the three would be a good replacement for Dingy Harry. But I worry that they will cancel each other out. It wouldn’t be the first time that the Republicans managed to pull out a defeat from certain victory. This is a major opportunity we cannot afford to lose.

I know, that’s not very specific. Let us pray for a victory here. Dingy Harry is evil.

This is a primary. We get to choose who we want to go up against Harry. Sharron isn’t running as an independent.

My concerns about Angle have nothing to do with where she stands on the issues. I saw her on CSPAN and was basically shocked at how she came across. Maybe she has the gravitas to be a senator, but it sure wasn’t evident. I think Reid would eat her for breakfast.

The other thing is her fervent pushing of a Scientology program for prison rehabilitation. I understand she is not a Scientologist, but any association with this group is going to be used against her bigtime.

I am really concerned that a golden opportunity is being squandered.

Is that true? Then she's very naive. Being hooked on Scientology is worse than being hooked on drugs.

I heard her on Mark Levin’s show and she was great.

What is it that we still don’t get? How many times have we went with a cookie cutter gutless option because they fit the image and lacked the guts? That said I could not disagree more. Sharron Angle is the anti-Reid and I think when brought head to head she would be a refreshing alternative. We need to stop looking at these races through a media crafted prism accepting who can and can not win based upon preconceptions.

The good thing is right now is that Angle is running 8 points ahead of Reid. I think any of the three could beat Reid but the ones I see most likely to blow it are first Lowden and second Tark. I’ll support any of them but right now I think Angle is the best and she is unconventional. She speaks like a regular person and with conviction and I think this is a time in history where we need people like Sharron Angle, Chuck DeVore, Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, and Pat Toomey. We need people who have clear and unequivocal core principles and who are first and foremost true to themselves because their politics isn’t crafted from the outside but comes from the inside.

[I am really concerned that a golden opportunity is being squandered.]

The problem is that all the Repub candidates are weak in one way or another. Sue keeps putting her foot in her mouth. Danny just wants to be Senator for his resume. Sharron lacks the gravitas, Chachas is too late and a carpetbagger. Chad Christiansen too late and no name recognition.

People need to help me push my Reid expose (see above) because otherwise we will lose this one.

“Being hooked on Scientology is worse than being hooked on drugs.”

What’s the difference? They both lead to being poor, since you have to keep paying to reach the next “higher” high! LOL!

Watch this debate where Angle is questioned on the prisoner program, it is in part 1.

Nevada Republican US Senate Debate 051810, Face to Face

It makes me question her bona fides on being a fiscal conservative. I just do not get her still supporting this scammy prisoner program.
