Via Ace. Dude, I’m starting to think this might be the guy. A solid first term, then reelection in 2014, and suddenly the wide-open 2016 primaries are right around the corner…

Elsewhere today, thanks to Christie’s support, the Jersey state senate pushed through a school voucher bill over the objections of the teachers union. Quote: “Sen. Raymond J. Lesniak, D-Union, the committee chairman, then ordered the hearing held on the Annex steps in front of hundreds of cheering private-school students who had been bused in to rally for the measure.”

I suspect that Chris is the real deal. If a guy like this is governor of NEW JERSEY then the liberals really do have serious problems. What a honor it is knowing that I voted for him and shook his hand during the campaign. Great video clip at link.

Awesome. We need more statesmen who will go to work and do and say what needs to be said. See tagline.

I hope he is the real deal! I have lived in NJ for 40 years and we have not had a governor who was even near satisfactory until he showed up. The prior governors (GOP or DONKEY) were corrupt and incompetent.

Wrong. It is when the Reps are not intimidated that they become characterized as ‘confrontational’. Its the verbal economy to say confrontational rather than no longer acquiescent.

I'm super impressed with Christie and other repubs just follow in his (and Palin's) footsteps.

btw, how is Christie doing in polling these days - are the people accepting his plans?

You can throw in all our stuffed shirt gubernatorial candidates as well, just to clear salary room. But they may demand cash compensation for taking them.

Anytime a person/politician takes a position that is different than a reporter’s, that reporter calls that stance confrontational. The reason is that most reporters are liberal, more so that many of the liberal politicians in office. I know, I work with reporters. I see their bias in straight news stories everyday. The editors are liberals and they don’t blink an eye at the biased copy that comes across their desks.

Wow! I gotta say I’m impressed with how he got right to the point of the issue.

That is so RARE in politics these days, especially on the republican side.

This guy was not the first choice of conservatives(including me) as he was suspected of being a rino. I am pleasantly suprised as he is the real thing.
