here’s a dirty little secret. Most of the “house brand” is likely made by Heinz and is re-branded. Most store brand items are this way whether people want to admit it or not. This is true of a lot of products at Walgreen’s as well as many other stores (the store brand sandwich cream cookies are re-branded Oreo cookies, their ice cream is Kemps, etc...).

Thanks for the tip. Will try the Walgreen’s brand for ketchup. I only use ketchup for fries or for meatloaf, but I want it to taste like it did when I was a kid.

Drats! Why are they making all my childhood favorites taste different? The Oreo’s don’t taste the same, neither do the Twinkies, Ding-Dongs or cupcakes. While I am far from beig a junk food junkie, when I buy them, I want them to taste like they did when I was 10.
