Armstrong sold his soul to Bill Clinton for a ride on the Space Shuttle. He is anything but apolitical. He is a Dem through and through.

You are thinking of John Glenn (D-ass#ole)

Barack Obama, a boy who grew up in Indonesia, not so proud of the American efforts in the space race, is turning his back to the sacrifices and efforts these men made to go to the moon and safely return.

There have been a number of deaths in the space program, they put their lives on the line. It means nothing to The One who CAMPAIGNED as being the "new" JFK, who gave a speach about putting a man on the moon and doing it because it was hard.

Obama does not believe in American exceptionalism. He's a bitter Red Diaper Doper Baby.

I wish Armstrong would give Obusted a "thumbs up"!

Oh! Armstrong cut off his thumb while cutting wood on his work bench. Doctors cut off his big toe and sewed it on his injured hand to help his grip.

Armstrong has a better grip on space matters then that sinister silly billy in the colored house!

Sinestra in Lating means left handed. Obumstead is left handed and his wife doesn't come close to Blondie's acumen.

My guess is that he’s being advised to put engineers and technicians out of work - who make good money and are not necessarily part of his voting bloc - in order to funnel the money to social programs that support people who ARE in his voting bloc. This of course blows up a fairly large pool of expertise that will take a lot of money and time to reassemble. A group that generates true progress (don’t you hate the word “progressive” to describe the left?) in a field that America - up to now - actually leads the world in. But then, we can’t expect to lead the world anymore, can we?

Not with this guy and his ilk in charge, anyway. What takes a moment to destroy can take a generation to rebuild.

I would say that EVERY US President has been “poorly” advised on “space” since that BOONDOGGLE of a “Space Shuttle” has LOCKED this country into Low Earth Orbit for the better part of a 1/4 of a century. Apollom Gemini and Mercury were where ALL of the breakthroughs were.

Armstrong is too kind. It could be that "The One" is not nearly as intelligent as everyone wants to portray him.

“Particularly when compared to his partner in great American heroism, Buzz Aldrin, who is becoming a borderline attention whore.”

Got that right. Check this out;

Sad to see him lower himself to something like this. Very sad.

Thanks for the countdown! We agree on the space program though. We couldn’t have the US leading the world in anything.

Obama doesn’t take ADVISE from anyone...the arrogant commie thinks he KNOWS everything.

Armstrong never went on the shuttle - I think you’re referring to John Glenn.

Later there was Jake Garn and Bill (no drilling) Nelson.
