Lot of outstanding officers out there, but every now and then you simply HAVE to weed out a bad egg.

It’s interesting how many bad cops in this day and age are actually black or Latino-conventional wisdom and PC usually tries to paint them as white.

For example, I’ve heard the LAPD “Rampart Scandal” held up as a byproduct of police causing problems in “the community”-the cops were basically all black or Hispanic, but you don’t hear that. The lowering of standards and affirmative action has resulted in not just “dumbing down” but lowered standards of character.

every now and then you simply HAVE to weed out a bad egg.

Unions make that impossible (witness the New York City teachers who have sat home collecting full pay and benes AFTER being CONVICTED of a FELONY until all of their appeals are exhausted. That usually takes years.)

Yes, few would disagree that after FIFTEEN SUSPENSIONS, something should be done. Or, do you think we should give Morales another chance?

How many of the rest of us could get anywhere near 15 suspensions? ...didn’t think so. This is ridiculous.
