I’m a admitted Bowyer apologist, but I would say that was about the “classiest stupid act” that I’ve ever seen in NASCAR. Hamlin, if he showed an ounce of patience on that restart could have got around Bowyer low without wrecking him and subsequently a hand full of other cars. Clint’s retaliation in comparison was under yellow at low speed and only took out Hamlin without putting others at risk

Vickers released from hospital

Brian Vickers was released Friday night from the Washington, D.C.-area hospital where he had been hospitalized since Wednesday night after the discovery of blood clots in his leg and near his lungs, according to a Red Bull Racing release.

Vickers, 26, was cleared to fly to Charlotte, where he will meet with a group of specialists to review his condition.

His timetable to return to the No. 83 Toyota, which is being manned by Casey Mears at Dover this weekend, is uncertain.
