I saw the other day that a Pill for men is in the works. I say it is a great idea, but could they really get men to take such a pill? I dont think so. I hope they do however, I want men to take some of the responsibility of not making babies. Should a woman trust a man to say "yeah I took it"? Probably not advisable to go without a condom either unless you want to risk diseases...

Here's an even simpler rule, in two parts:
Men: Engage in sexual intercourse only with your wife.
Women: Engage in sexual intercourse only with your husband.

Once men can have all the sex they want with no risk of pregnancy ...Men have no risk of pregnancy that I know of.

If you want traditional sex rules and marriage to return, then invent a pill for men. They already have it, it's call a vasectomy and a freezer of home made "Popsicles" for when you want kids

Seems Ive read about that somewhere. Probably ... I know it's a totally goofy idea that only some sort of repressed weirdo would think of, but I didn't invent it.

Yes we need a birth control for these men before one of those babies grow up and date each other not knowing they are half brother and sister!!!
Their children will then become libtards and run for national office....and be elected!

Raquel Welch has been a conservative voice in Hollywood.
If you glance through photo galleries of her, you will also discover that she was conservative as a “sex symbol” too - as Tax-Chick noted, her beauty shone through any clothes she wears - then and still now. Though she appeared in Playboy, I am almost certain she did not appear nude. Her daughter, Tahnee, whose beauty is quite reflective of Raquel’s, similarly has not appeared nude to the best of my knowledge - so Raquel seems to have taught well.
To the best of my recollection she has been remarkably consistent in her positions over the years, and this article is something that I would expect to see from her.
Try to encourage Hollywood conservatives!

I want men to take some of the responsibility of not making babies. I dont believe that any woman in her right mind would believe/trust a man who claimed to be on the pill.

I remember seeing Tahnee Welch in “Cocoon,” that cute movie about aliens making old folks young. Gorgeous girl.
And we recently saw Raquel in an excellent, comic part in “Tortilla Soup,” with Hector Elizondo.

I have always admired Raquel. Of course, as a man I have always ogled her, and I frankly admit she has always been my "most beautiful woman". My admiration has grown over the years, though, for the way she maintained her integrity and "limits" despite what must have been enormous pressures. I considered her to be a pretty good and versatile actress (I loved "Mother Jugs and Speed") but I suspect much of her potential career was torpedoed due to her determination to limit her sex roles.
In addition, the way she has aged gracefully and gently preached about how to do so has been remarkable.
In the CNN article she does something else that people need more of: "...I'm ashamed to admit that I myself have been married four times, ...". How many times have we seen this frank self assessment?
I had a crush on Raquel when I was in my teens watching 1,000,000 yr BC, and I still have a crush on her, but that is a result of her beauty being much more than skin deep.

the eye and heart are too closely related usually...I am currently making the conscious effort to avoid lustfully looking at wimmen, and the years of doing so is a hard habit to break, but im making the effort...
problem is that the sex in our culture is a sign of decomposition, ie, its the aftermath of the death of culture, not a symptom of sickness...
my .02, and fwiw, yes i did look at all the pics so far, and have chalked up a need for more repentence to mrs g...

I read somewhere along the line that they tried this with men early on and one man died in the trials. One man. So they then turned their focus to contracepting the female. I don’t recall how many women died before they got it ‘right’.
Pope Paul VI’s much maligned and generally despised encyclical, Humanae Vitae was prophetic in its foretelling of precisely what has come to pass since the sexual revolution started. It started some 38 years prior however, since before 1930 no Christian denomination embraced artificial contraception.

Obviously vasectomy was not the answer, it never appealed to me.

Birth control for men is supposed to be very complex.

You have to live in WA state. We are the single parent capital of the country.
My partner got mixed up with a woman that actually finds men, dates them, has sex with them in order to get pregnant, and then has the kid.
The father finds out if a) he’s got money and can pay child support, or b) never finds out if he doesn’t.
This lady’s got three, just got pregnant, and is now about to ‘marry’ some loser to do it all over again.
One of the best paralegals there is. She’s brilliant, actually, and very, very sick. A real predator.
