Because Hawaii requires a separate statement certifying that the candidate is Constitutionally eligible, rather than simply assuming that the DNC and RNC will follow their own constitutions. Normally the Hawaii Democratic Party certified the Constitutional eligibility in the same document saying that the candidate was the HDP’s duly chosen candidate, which was hand-delivered to the Elections Office about a month after the democratic convention. For Obama, the HDP did everything totally different. They signed their statement the day before Pelosi signed the DNC certifications; the HDP left off the Constitutional eligibility language, signaling the DNC that if Obama was going to get on the Hawaii ballot they would have to be the ones to certify his eligibility because the HDP refused.

The HDP representative I spoke with on the phone refused to say who authorized the change, when, or why. He had some choice words about “birthers” though. lol.

Simple questions that deserve straight answers. I am not a “birther,” but rather a person who would like to know what those answers are. Yet, to the libtard dims and media that simple desire makes me a birther in their minds.

But then again, they are such little minds.
