You're kidding, right? The Constitution has been "ignored"...strike that...it has been trampled and spat upon for over 70 years - arguably longer.

Congress just passed Obamacare under the theory that being a carbon-based life form means one is "engaging in commerce" - and it will be upheld in the courts by a combination of leftist and squishy go-along "conservative" judges who don't want to be called bad names by the New York Times. Do you REALLY think this noxious combination of the unprincipled and the evil is going to unseat a sitting president based on the simple fact that he isn't constitutionally qualified? The Constitution is a "living, breathing" document to them, remember? They'll just breathe whatever they need into it to keep Obama in office. And what's more, I think you know this already.

Here's the bottom line. He may or may not have been born in the U.S. But the Constitution doesn't matter in this case, and it barely matters in ANY case until we elect a boatload of congresscritters who give a damned about it over an extended period of time. THAT battle, with years of hard work, can be won. This birth certificate thing, though, is a pointless distraction that gives ammunition to our enemies and dissipates our energies into the black hole of a hopeless cause.

What difference does the Constitution make - even if there are decent SCOTUS justices - if the local bureaucrat can make up the rules as she goes, the media can lie with impunity, and police officers and FBI alike wink at crime?

We need both battles, Hank. We need to clean out the top. We need to clean out the bottom. And we need to clean out everything in between.

The issue is not helping Obama one bit. It certainly not helping him hold onto to Congress that he will certainly lose this November. It's the big lie if exposed that will bring Obama down completely.

How exactly does the thusfar un-disproven conjecture that B. Hussein Obama does not meet the basic qualifications for president as established by in the U.S. Constitution give "ammunition to our enemies?" ... because they say so? ... or because Michael Medved and many other conservative talk show hosts are scared to silence to discuss it? ... or because the courts are paralyzed with fear to even consider it?

In view of what the Left is doing to this country I truly do not understand why exactly it is a "pointless distraction" to pursue this (and it can be prosecuted concurrent with our patriotic duty to crush the Socialist Democrats in November). Please explain why you think this is so, my friend?
