“We are very close to a Banana Republic.”

Actually, you are a participant in The Barry Soetoro Reality Show. It is planned to air for at least another 31 months.

People voted in a community organizer as POTUS with absolutely no exec experience to speak of (public or private) so it should be no surprise to see this happen.

If she’s ok with guns, and I want to see hard proof she still is, then indeed this is probably the best we can expect by far.

“Kagan Can Be a Justice, Though She’s Never Been a Judge?”

Why not. We have a president who’s never been a citizen.

Judicial experience,or any concrete knowledge of the Constitution - you know, that WASP rag with all the “negative liberties” that just get in Obama’s way? - is only a hindrance to the Obama’s goals. He belongs to the Kennedy-Metzenbaum School of Psychic Law. The written word isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on. It’s all about what the Constitution “should” be.

I dunno, my primary knock on Harriet Miers is that the papers she wrote read like a bra-burning, pot-addled hippy professor, peppering her reasoning with her feeeeeelings.

William “Donald” Rehnquist was born Oct. 1, 1924 to a conservative family in Milwaukee. As the son of a paper salesman, William Benjamin Rehnquist, and a translator, Margery Peck Rehnquist, Rehnquist changed his middle name in high school to honor his grandmother.

Hussein wasn’t a law prof. He was a visiting lecturer who got his job via pressure from Mayor Daley. Hussein needed a job and the Chicago rat machine got him one.

hard to turn something into spaghetti if it's already spaghetti. This country is becoming a joke. Now we will have TWO lesbians on the Supreme court. Talk about misrepresentation.
