And now theres yet another new experience Tiger Woods has to deal with. And its the last thing we ever thought wed see from the man who used to be the greatest golfer most of us had ever seen.
He quit Sunday in the final round of the Players Championship. Picked his ball up on the seventh hole, said his neck hurts, and didnt even walk off the course. He climbed in a golf cart and rode off into the metaphorical sunset. Except that little kid running behind him wasnt yelling, Come back, Shane! He was yelling, "Tiger, say so long to No. 1! Kiss it goodbye!"
OK, the kid said that Saturday, after Tiger limped in about 10 strokes off the lead. But its the thought that counts, and the thought was that Tigers had it.

Nice B.S. post - Have you ever considered that he is injured?
“No Mas.”
Funny...that was the first thing that popped into my head.
You're now fulfilling your own prophecy...you are a joke.
He’ll get his doctor to say he’s in tremendous excruciating pain and that it was amazing he even played this long. His game is not what he wants it to be and he will practice like a mutha until it is. He’ll come back huge later in the year.. maybe overseas. I’m tired of this punk.
Could be. Where's wifey?
Sweden last I heard. Not sure what that has to do with this situation...
Bruised Ego
Two words-don’t watch!
STD injury?
I have had enough of Tiger blogs to last me 5 years!
The UK Telegraph yesterday before he quit had a same type of story with some little kid telling to hang it up. Sounds like the writer’s are using props for there stories. A lot of people are not being friendly towards him at the tourneys.
Someone on a golf web site said he plays poorly when the crowd was not behind him as well. He is having a press conference tomorrow and I bet he is gone for a while and don’t be surpised if he quits for good.
He will tell the frantic and fawning PGA behind closed doors that he is not coming back until the fans idolize him again.
Some are wondering if there is a real injury that the crash could have hurt his back.
Elin better get her money fast. Tiger’s stock is tanking.
It says he picked his balls up off the ground and left. Figgered she might be back.
From a golf fan over at GolfWrx - most of them are very good golfers.

“Look, he just said in his Tuesday press conference that “I am 100% and able to work out full bore”. Now, a couple of days later, he has been battling this neck issue for weeks? C’mon, you can’t be this blinded by your ‘Tiger Love’! He is a crap person, and now it’s leaking into his golf game. He wouldn’t be risking further injury....because there is NO INJURY. I am not a doctor but I’ll diagnose him- pathelogical liar.”
Tuesday everything was fine and now he has a problem? People are also sayng Michelle Wie who pulls out of tourneys when she is playing badly with mystery ailments. She is another Nike player.
His neighbors must be a bit ticked off, to put it mildly.
Bring on some new Golf Champs ala Trevino, Nicholas or Palmer. Tiger has never been in their league.
Oh it is fun to watch. Fun to watch Phil outdrive Tiger by 20+ yarrs at around 320 yards. Even more fund to watch young Rory who is not jacked on steroids and HGH hit it 353 years or about 60 yards past Tiger.
Nice to see little Tim Clark win The Players. He beat Tiger in the Accenture Match Play back in late Feb 2009.
I think the “injury” is BS but maybe he jacked his back when he hit the fire plug next door to hos house.
“I have had enough of Tiger blogs to last me 5 years!”
They keep flaring up probably like Tiger’s STDs.
It was a big deal when Michelle Wie faked an injury. Throw the book at Tiger.
