Not a good move. If I was a Republican, I would vote to confirm. Gotta pick battles and this isn’t one of them.
When Dark vader Ginszberg retires next year it will virtually be a split senate. That is when they really need to fight. That would tip the scales on the court if we could get a true “moderate”.

Which is exactly the sort of thinking that got your part to be a minority party.
This is absolutely the battle the GOP should fight.
If we cannot count on you to fight for something as basic as qualified, competent judges, you may as well go the way of the Whigs since you all are totally useless.
