Thanks for the post kristinn. I emailed it off to many on my email list.
What is incredible to me is the demand for respect by those people where absolutely none is offered by them as they heartily consume all the blessed gifts of Americanism that Americans worked so damned hard to achieve.
So many of the Mexican people have become citizens of the USA legally, and have been a part of those blessings achieved, so why in the Hell can’t those that scream for respect gain that respect as so many others of Mexican heritage have, legally.
Somewhere along the line something got screwed up.
We cheapened citizenship by granting amnesty to illegals years ago. We also cheapened it by granting citizenship to babies born here of illegal parents. The Hispanics that were able to waltz in here illegally, while we turned a blind eye and filled their hand every time they put it out have no loyalty or appreciation for this great country. Illegals see us as weak and lazy because we have not stood up to them. The children of illegals that are recognized as instant citizens do not appreciate what they have been granted, and will never be satisfied no matter what they are given. For things to have value, they must be earned. The illegals in the streets are like spoiled children demanding new toys- many of them don’t even want citizenship- they want to take our land and make it their own.
