We cheapened citizenship by granting amnesty to illegals years ago. We also cheapened it by granting citizenship to babies born here of illegal parents. The Hispanics that were able to waltz in here illegally, while we turned a blind eye and filled their hand every time they put it out have no loyalty or appreciation for this great country. Illegals see us as weak and lazy because we have not stood up to them. The children of illegals that are recognized as instant citizens do not appreciate what they have been granted, and will never be satisfied no matter what they are given. For things to have value, they must be earned. The illegals in the streets are like spoiled children demanding new toys- many of them don’t even want citizenship- they want to take our land and make it their own.
I never understood how ‘anchor babies’ are legal-I thought the Constitution stated that BOTH PARENTS must be in the U.S. LEGALLY when the child is born, and that gives the baby U.S. citizenship, not just any kid born here gets all the rights of an American citizen whether or not the parents are legally here. Has this ever been challenged legally?
