Flaunt it EVERYDAY!
If the countries that the immigrants came from were so great, why aren’t they there? Especially Mexico. And they usually don’t go home on their own. The few that do are a drop in the bucket made up by the deluge flowing in.

Thanks for the link, Civ, but I can't watch it. My people came here in 1729. None were ever rich. None were ever famous. They shed blood, sweat, and tears. But they were FREE. They distilled an ethos in me that is a line you simply don't cross.
Im off to Walmart to get a new made-in-China American flag shirt. Be back soon!
I'm sure this was tongue-in-cheek, but it still makes me mad. I don't think I own any flag type clothes. But when the Vets come around every year, I buy another Flag. MADE IN THE USA.

...I agree with lapels or pins, on staffs, or displayed appropriately. Red, white and blue bunting is fine when imprinted on apparel. But, IMO, the stars and stripes should not be worn as clothing, stamped or even woven. My argument for this is where would you wear it. On the bottom of your shorts, or the bottom of your socks? Seems to me that would be as offensive as burning a flag in public...

I’m in. I’m going to wear my flag pin on my jacket. Nice and conspicuous.

“Old Glory flys 365 24/7.”
Flag etiquette: Old Glory should be brought in at night unless a light is shining on it, and brought in during inclement weather.

That you Sir........I will pass on a collection of the posts here at FR to his family and friends.
.... we just left his funeral and it was full military honors, a fly over by a biplane WWI era, 2 army fixed wing spotter planes from what I believed to be the Korean and Vietnam War. And then three P-51 Mustangs over the deck. I an many other EOD troops, Army, Navy , Air Force and Marines attended as that was Esau’s MOS. Explosive Ordnance Disposal. Whole City of Panhandle TX turned out to pay their respects.......
The entire Panhandle of Texas displayed the flags and salutes during the Memorial last friday and when his remains were returned to the Amarillo Texas Airport. School Children and Texans lined highway 60 from the airport to the city of Panhandle about 25 miles east .......
The Church was standing room only and an excellent service. Bugler played taps, bagpipes escorted the procession and played amazing grace......
Local, County and State LEO’s from the region included Texas Rangers as well as VFW, American Legion, Special Forces Association, ........
Respect, Honor, Country and Duty along with the flag were full on in this tiny Texas town today.......
Esau will clearly be missed by the outpouring of love and concern for his family.
Rest In Peace Esau .......ya earned it troop !
Stay Safe !
