....He then added his own budget proposal that actually erases the nation's long-term deficit and had The Washington Post calling the White House's official 2011 budget "only the second-most interesting budget proposal released" this year.

In Washington, Ryan currently has in his crosshairs a White House and Congress he says are pursuing policies that will create a national culture of dependency and drain individuals of the will to make the most out of their lives. To fight that, he has come armed with something many complain is missing in the current breed of elected officials bearing the conservative banner: ideas.

And what might that be? I love Paul Ryan.

No one finds this post-worthy?

I think Ryan is great and is an emerging conservative powerhouse. Tho I don’t agree with every position he has ever taken over his 6 terms, he reminds me more of Reagan than just about any other politician currently in Washington.

I hope he will consider higher office.

I have been trying to talk up Paul Ryan here(usually to the sound of crickets)for a while now. He's the Un-Obama. He's intelligent, rational, mainstream conservative on the big issues, not a career blowhard politician, and most of all by all accounts NORMAL. He gets it, especially when it comes to the fact that ideas trump BS every time they're tried. We can't expect that people pissed off at dims will automatically gravitate to the only other option out there. Most people would rather vote for something than against something. The reason why so many don't vote at all is that they've grown tired of politicians in general that have nobody’s interests in mind except their own reelection. We need Paul Ryan and others like him. The might be the only thing that can bring America back from the brink that Obama, Pelosi, Reid, et al have dragged us to.

To get more people to buy into his ideas, he needs to have those ideas published. Is there a website where one could read his road map?

Thanks bushwon. I've been following Mr. Ryan for a few years now. I have also been trying to trying to make more people aware of him.

In 2005 after his reelection as president, Bush offered the top job of budget director to Ryan but Ryan turned it down to stay in Congress. Two years later he became the top Republican on the House Budget committee, chosen over 12 more senior Republicans in the group.

Hey, any man who can sit in a tree stand and stay quiet enough for large animals to get close so he can put them on the dinner table is OK in my book. I can’s shoot a bow, I’ve tried and had some good teachers, but it ain’t in my skillset.

Good on ya Paul. Wonder what the libturds would do if WallyWorld quit putting food on the shelves. I guess I’d be eating a lot of squirrel and dove, stuff I can take with my pellet gun. At that point my woman starves ;)

Some of those positions in the last 6 terms: Ryan voted yes on TARP and the auto company bailouts. Family Research Council reported that Ryan also favors the anti-free speech, anti-religion, attack on the First Amendment known as ENDA (Employment Non-Discrimination Act) as long as it doesn’t include the category of transgendered:
