I disagree
if they don’t have enough respect for our country’s laws they should never become citizens. There are plenty of worthy people who actually want to be Americans who are wating to come here legally.
I love in Texas and I can tell you these illegals don’t want to be Americans. they only want to take and take.

My experience with (possible) illegals (no, I didn’t hire ‘em, I just worked alongside ‘em), is different from yours, I guess. Of course, I also live in Georgia, not Texas.
I’ll settle for securing the border first, making it hard (darn near impossible) to hire illegals second, and worry about what to do with ones still here third.
I’m betting most of ‘em will self-deport after the first two steps.
