It’s one thing to snipe at a misspelling here amongst our own, but there’s no excuse whatsoever for it in a big daily. They hold themselves up as smarter than everybody else (why should I care who they endorse for a political office, for example), yet they make fourth-grade language errors of virtually every kind every day.

I saw a tag line once that said yes some words may be misspelled you will get over it and life will go on. I thought how apropos since there seems to be a lot of spelling and grammar police around. Once a person was loosing a discussion with me and keep attacking my grammar and asked if English was my first language and I came back and said no that Klingon was and if he had a problem with that I could call the federation in on him.
