I am still surprised that some people...on Free Republic are just figuring this out. The most egregious examples are headlines that state: Republican Senator X says Obama plan "brilliant".
A great hue and cry ensues, focussing on how GOP Senator X is a RINO and a traitor.
Yet, if you actually read the story, you discover that Senator X didn't say anything of the kind. The headline is what the newspaper wants to believe...and wants you to think.
But...it...is...a...lie.
The media simply cannot be trusted anymore. On anything. Their work ranges from misleading to fabrication to incompetent.
