If appreciating Reagan meant I had to agree with everything he said up to and including ridiculing instead of supporting good conservative candidates, yes.
But somehow that was never an issue with Reagan.

But somehow that was never an issue with Reagan. It certainly was an issue with Reagan, more than once. Liberal Republicans like Richard Schweiker (his VP choice in 1976) and Chuck Percy; RINOs like Pete Wilson -- people who had absolutely trashed him in public, yet he campaigned hard for them later. All for the greater good.
