As for that “journalist” — is it the same guy at MSNBC that pontificated on air that the Times Sq. (would-be) Bomber was a tea partier?

I think that Tea Party Supporters who live near MSNBC’s HQ should plan to picket their offices, or something!

Journalists - indeed all "liberals" - are (in Mark Steyn's excellent terminology) cardboard heros. They are legends in their own mind when it comes to fighting people whom it is absolutely safe to oppose.

But for opposing actual dangers, such as jihadists threatening mayhem if not kowtowed to? Not so much.

Good point, but I think West’s answer was the best one. The anchor tried to frame the argument alleging the racism, and West didn’t take the bait instead pointing out exactly what us “Tea Partiers” REALLY stand for!

The left needs to get a whole bunch more honest about the counter protests to the tea party folks like myself.

I have seen hundreds of utube videos of the leftist union freaks, etc., protesting and they still have pre-fab signs but there are ALWAYS lots of signs at the protest pushing COMMUNISM and SOCIALISM and other really creepy stuff. Why doesn't the MEDIA talk about those signs....those signs are REALLY THERE and can be sighted and put on the air, instead, they cut them out...I watched a PBS show about the counter protests and I SAW where they cut them out because they used video that is also on utube. It really stinks.

On the Tax Day Tea Party Rally in Grand Prairie Texas, I took video camera in hand and interviewed attendees. I did this knowing it would counter the media misrepresentaion of the Tea Partiers.
