I wonder if the upside down US flag was photo shopped. I have a hard time believing that they would go that far...

Yup. My first thought too. No attribution to the photo on the site, and the url doesn’t indicate a date either.

I think it’s an actual picture, but one that was taken two or three years ago at a school in California.

They did go that far. That flag raising was done in front of a highschool in Whittier, California. The picture was in the local newspaper. This happened during the last big illegal rallies two or three years ago. Hundreds of kids left their school then walked to the school in Whittier. There are pictures of these kids taking down the American flag from the school flagpole, then replacing it with the Mexican flag on top and the American flag, upside down, at the bottom.
