I personally suspect it lists his race as "White", since that was the race of his mother.

The race of the child is not listed on long form Hawaiian Birth Certificates of 1961, or any other time I'm aware of.

The screenshot is of the COLB, not the original, long-form BC. As others have noted, the COLB is an abstract, not a duplicate, of the BC. I don't know if race of the child is on the long form.
