Relatives snared in Times Square plot

KARACHI, Pakistan, May 5 (UPI) -- Pakistani authorities arrested an acquaintance and relative of the suspect linked to a failed plot to blow up New York City's Times Square, officials said.

U.S. authorities are interrogating Pakistani-born Faisal Shahzad for his alleged role in a plot to detonate a car bomb in Times Square during the weekend. The naturalized U.S. citizen was apprehended late Monday at New York's John F. Kennedy airport and is said to be cooperating with authorities.

He is charged with acts of terrorism and an attempt to use a weapon of mass destruction.

Let’s see. Shahzad is a naturalized US citizen. His wife was born in Colorado. So under the qualifications as set out by Vattel for a “natural born citizen”, their children, born in the USA, could be president.

Maybe we should amend the constitution so that no one of Arab-Muslim descent could be President.
