One of my brothers, now gone, and a 101st Screaming Eagles paratrooper in the early 60s had a ‘57 white convertible, beautiful car. one of my other brothers rolled it in a cornfield the night before my other brother’s wedding,, he also had a nice Dodge Monaco 500 until his fiance ran it into a light pole. They still got married, she was just shooken up,,

I’ve heard of boot straps in the rear for luggage, I think, but the only other kind of strap in my childhood was the one my dad used on me 55 years ago. Didn’t do any good.
I’ll have you know Mrs. Happydog now wants to go to Ashland (shopping) instead of the Hellgate trip this coming week. I am eternally grateful to you for that little bee ‘someone’ put in her bonnet.
