If President George W. Bush had slurred the gay-rights movement during his presidency, it would have immediately dominated the news of every single national media outlet. Reporters would have pummeled the Administration and demanded an explanation and apology for the offense, and rightly so. You don’t smear anyone – let alone fellow Americans who elected you to office – regardless of your political differences.

We deserve to know which anchors are homosexuals. Why is “don’t ask don’t tell” just bad policy for the military? Why must journalists remain in the closet? The public deserves to know why they spin these issues.
They also used the term “chickenhawks” when patriots rallied to support the troops in Iraq.
Chickenhawk is a term used to describe an older man who cruises boys for sex.

Well you can’t expect the media to condemn obama calling us Tea Baggers when it was one of their esteemed bretheren who first used the term to describe us. Since then it has become part of their common lexicon. And since so many of them enjoy the activity the term implies they can’t understand why anyone would object to their use of said term.

If a non-RINO Republican can be maligned, they’ll do it.

More aptly, if he had called leftist protesters in general “cornholers”, “buggerers” or something describing a gay sexual act, as Obama and the leftists do with conservatives, he would be vilified to this day.
He would have gotten more votes.
