sure
Considering the “Bush policies” changed sharply after 9/11, it seems that Obey was opposed to “Bush policies” simply because they were his.
And how would he know what those policies would be during the 2000 election??
I guess he knew Bush was going to be elected before he even was nominated!
David Obey ... the Miss Cleo of the Democrat party.
Lets see. He ran for election in 2000, thinking he might retire right after the votes were counted?...and some 80 days later when Bush is sworn in, he decides to stay on because Bush didn’t something bad.
Palin endorsed Sean Duffy.
Do people elect this guy or is there just one voter in that district.

Damn right!!! That’s his story and he’s stickin’ to it!!!

He should just get out now. The HCB is going to be a millstone around the neck of every congresscritter that voted for it.
As time passes and the true nature of the bill comes to fruition, the petty disregard for the American people that they were sworn to protect and serve will become evident.
There will be no relief from the scorn yet to be heaped.
