I see the standards are still low for writing a headline.
A pretty stupid move, if true.
PR 101: Let the duds go unnoticed, take credit for the successes.
I’m having a bad day. I thought the title meant the NYC folks put a bomb in Pakistan. It took me a moment to realize what the title really meant.
Authorities are not saying who the potential suspects are or where they are being held, but they say there were raids Monday night and Tuesday morning in different locations. It's believed between four and eight people are being held, and there are reports that some of them may be related to the suspect arrested overnight in New York.Relatives and fellow terrorists in Pakistan where the failed bomber was for 5 months preparing for this terrorist attack
Everyone is in a hurry to get a story out
With hardly any information of course
I was hoping that the Tea Party Movement was fighting back.
Rush just said that CNN is reporting that they had no idea he was on that plane until the airline called the FBI (he paid for his ticket in cash). Getting harder to play the hero, eh, Barry?
I heard that, too....and figured someone was going to get hell for letting that tidbit loose.
At least they were good enough to put "source" in the tittle so people knew it wasn't their usual "plucked from air:" or "Complete BS We Want You To Believe:"
What are NYC bombs doing in Pok e stahn?
If it wasn’t for Emirates Airlines calling the police about the last-minute, one-way, all-cash purchase, the muzzie bomber would be back in Kararchi right now.
“Rush just said that CNN is reporting that they had no idea he was on that plane until the airline called the FBI (he paid for his ticket in cash).”
I’m speechless.
I had to click on this link to see how many replies would have more to do with the headline than the actual article. I was confused too.
Obama is on this one though, because his goood rich friend was close by the bomb..Oprah.
“Investigators had said there was no direct link to al Qaeda or any terrorist group”.
Should read “Investigators had said there was no evidence that the terrorist threat was not linked to al Qaeda or other terrorist group”.
There, I feel better now.
So I guess Janet Napalitano can, once again, declare that "the system worked."
The last-minute Emirates airling ticket to Dubai would have cost the muzzie bomber around $6,000. I wonder if he paid in $20’s or $100’s?
I don’t understand why airlines let people buy tickets with cash any more - especially one-way tickets. What percent of airline tix are bought with cash, I wonder? That even sounds suspicious to ME, and I’m just an ignorant tea person.
