Pakistani Wanted in NYC Bomb Plot, 2 Others Pulled From Plane

NEW YORK -- A Pakistani-born U.S. citizen accused of trying to detonate a bomb-laden SUV in Times Square was minutes away from fleeing the U.S. when his Dubai-bound flight was returned to its gate at New York's Kennedy Airport and U.S. officials escorted him from the plane, along with two other men.

The suspect, Faisal Shahzad, will appear in court Tuesday to face charges that he tried to set off a massive fireball and kill Americans after parking his car on a street lined with restaurants and Broadway theaters, federal authorities said.

The U.S. attorney's office in Manhattan was handling the case against Shahzad, 30, but has not yet made the charges against him public. FBI agents searched the home at a known address for Shahzad in Bridgeport, Conn., early Tuesday, said agent Kimberly Mertz, who wouldn't answer questions about the search.

Authorities removed filled plastic bags from the house overnight in a mixed-race, working-class neighborhood of multi-family homes in Connecticut's largest city. A bomb squad came and went without entering as local police and FBI agents gathered in the cordoned-off street.

In all, three passengers were removed from Emirates Airline Flight EK202 late Monday night as Shahzad was taken into custody by FBI agents and New York Police Department detectives.

Ha, dragged their stinkin’ carcasses off the plane. I love it.

Would this be because they caught them just in the nick of time? Or they wanted them on board before they went in?

Yes sireee Bob!

No "terrorist profiling" used here as the Feds (Obama/liberal lackeys) were hoping to find some anti-Obama white guy who wanted to make the point that he's "taxed enough already!"

Not according to ABC News:

"He appeared real close to getting away," one federal official said. "The plane was buttoned up. Backed away from the jetway."

Authorities said that despite the manhunt, his passport had not been flagged and he was able to buy a ticket with cash and clear airport security.

This is sure going to look bad on Shahzad’s performance evaluation back at the Taliban. Evidently he wasn’t paying attention in the terrorist classes. First he makes a car bomb that fails, then he leaves a traceable cell phone number on the phone that was intended to detonate the bomb, and finally he get’s caught alive while boarding a plane for Dubai without becoming a martyr. Even the Taliban has trouble finding good help these days.

Here is the crap that Yahoo is feeding the idiot masses...

“A U.S. citizen arrested as he tried to flee the country led a quiet life in Conn., ex-neighbors say.”

Yeah, a quiet life...kind of like Rodney Dangerfield’s line...”He was a quiet man”.

“Home was in foreclosure...”
“Looks like amateur plot...”

My quote...”This prick is a terrorist from PAKISTAN”!!!!!

Oh, that’s right we cannot say the “T” word anymore....since a Muslim became POTUS!!!

Nice goin’ voters!

The other two were undercover agents that followed Shahzad onto the plane that was then allowed to leave the terminal. After determining that the suspect, having let his guard down as the plane taxied, did not communicate or make eye contact with any other associates on the plane, the plane returned to the terminal and Shahzad was removed.

Very crispy surveillance work. Very sweet. BTW, it is true that a gun was found in Shahzad's car left at the airport.
