Did Holder announce which one of his buddies would be defending this victim, I mean suspect?

They misread an article. The article was talking about the bombings in London and Glasgow. One of those involved a cellphone. Not this one.
I almost made the same mistake.

http://blog.washingtonpost.com/spy-talk/2010/05/counterterrorism_experts_asses.html?hpid=topnews
Former White House terrorism advisor Richard A. Clarke said the incident “was similar to” the car bomb discovered outside the Tiger Tiger nightclub in London in 2007, which involved a Mercedes packed with gasoline.

Police found a cell phone in the car, and a second car bomb was discovered later before it exploded, leading to suspicions that they were the work of al-Qaeda operatives or sympathizers.

It would be nice if ‘reporters’ for Politico could actually get the facts correct before printing a story...

“But investigators were able to lift it from a second location on the vehicle, and used that to track down a Connecticut man who said he had sold the Pathfinder for cash about three weeks ago.”

He paid $1300 for a car from a 19-year-old FEMALE college student

******

Shahzad, 30, bought the Pathfinder with 13 $100 bills from Peggy Colas, a 19-year-old female college student from Bridgeport, Conn. Colas had arranged to sell her vehicle to Shahzad through the listings website Craigslist a week before the failed attack.

Law enforcement officials told Fox News Channel that Colas, who was tracked down as the seller of the SUV based on vehicle identification numbers on the engine and axle, identified Shahzad as the person she sold her car to using a photo from Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

The official said Shahzad became a naturalized U.S. citizen on April 17, 2009. He left the U.S. less than two months later, flying out to Dubai on June 2, 2009.

Reports said he then flew to Pakistan and spent several months there. He reentered the U.S. on Feb. 3, 2010, on an Emirates flight.

When Holder has a presser in the middle of the night, it's something.

Yes, it's to cover his *ss! It's suppose to make Obama, et al look like they have everything under control which is as far from the truth as you can get!

What I can't help thinking, is that they're extremely disappointed that this guy wasn't some white cracker, tea party type.

Mayor Bloomberg (Democrat RINO-NYC) will also be upset. He made a 25cent wager (on tape) that it would be a lone nut "possibly deranged" opponent of the President's policies like Obamacare.

"How did obama get to be president of this country?”

McCain

Yepper. Couldn’t have happened without him.”

Republicans didn’t even nominate McCain he won the nomination by the democrat vote in open primaries.
If we just counted republican votes he would of lost.

“The number from a disposable cellphone led FBI agents to the suspect arrested Monday night for allegedly driving a car bomb into Times Square on Saturday evening, according to a senior official.

“They were able to basically get one phone number and by running it through a number of databases, figure out who they thought the guy was,” the official said.:

Thank you ... and THANK YOU, Pres. Bush, for
withstanding all the attacks and criticism for
pushing for the Patriot Act, enabling our
professional intel agents to track terrorist
activity.

Will ANYONE in the media acknowledge this ..
will -0 comment on how the programs Pres.
Bush put in place were pivotal in this beast’s
capture ?

NO!

But if -0 had done it, the kudos would be endless.

In reading back I discovered an error I made. The posting of FB information I did was not in relation to the Subway guy, it was in relation to the guy who claimed to have a bomb on that flight from Paris to the US. I wish we had an “edit” button here! :)

I need to stop staying up so darn late and posting. Fatigue doesn’t help the brain remember too clearly! LOL

Remember when the zero raved about privacy re: wiretapping?

Remember the disappointment when he reversed himself?

(see Gitmo, Iraq, troops to Afghanistan, NAFTA, FISA, Campaign Finance, drilling fake, Yucca Mountain, donors are the little guy, I hate Goldman Sachs, corporations see GE, etc.)

Ooh, and the way he treated women and the press... and blacks after they outlived their use. Oh, and all the real and fake under the bus victims.

But not to worry, the reds, left and MSM will carry the water and BELIEVE in the change.

BTW, never bought the disposable cell phone trace. That’s just me.

Don’t worry! Obama and his hand picked Muslim appointees to Homeland Security will protect us:

http://www.jihadwatch.org/2009/11/obama-adminstration-appoints-muslims-to-key-homeland-security-posts——but-theyre-moderates-arent-th.html

Obama adminstration appoints Muslims to key Homeland Security posts — but... they’re “moderates,” aren’t they?

The track record of the two appointees, taken together with the administration’s own ability to distinguish “moderates” from “extremists” inspires anything but confidence. After all, the Fort Hood jihadist was himself a member of a panel advising the incoming Obama administration.

At the heart of this issue are the politically correct articles of faith that few dare blaspheme, which insist that there is nothing problematic about Islam’s core texts and teachings regarding warfare and the rights of women and unbelievers, and that there exists a well-defined “moderate” Islam that the West can work with. The problem is, no one ever stops to define “moderate,” for fear that articulating actual standards may cause offense.

“Devout Muslims In Key Homeland Security Posts,” by Judicialwatch via Right Side News, November 22:

Days after a devout Muslim terrorized a U.S. Army base in Texas several news reports remind that two key Homeland Security posts are occupied by equally devout Muslims, one of them a former Los Angeles deputy mayor who eliminated a crucial program that tracked terrorist activities in the city.

Earlier this year President Obama appointed Arif Alikhan to be the nation’s Assistant Secretary for Policy Development at the Department of Homeland Security and Kareem Shora to the agency’s influential advisory council, which provides recommendations and advice directly to the Secretary of Homeland Security.

Alikhan, who leads a Homeland Security team responsible for developing policy issues to secure the country against terrorism, has referred to the renowned terrorist organization Hezbollah as a “liberation movement” and was responsible for killing a Los Angeles Police project that monitored terrorist activities in the city’s notoriously radical mosques. The defunct Muslim terror tracking plan was designed to identify hotbeds of extremism in an area where several locals offered the September 11 hijackers support.

Shora was the head of a well-known Arab organization whose officials refer to anti-U.S. jihadists as heroes. As executive director of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC), Shora had close ties to radical Ivy League professor Rashid Khalidi, a Palestinian terror supporter who has reportedly worked on behalf of the extremist Palestine Liberation Organization....

Maybe becoming a citizen is now a formal objective to reduce passport scrutiny upon return to the US.

Well, that makes me wonder about that Egyptian cabbie I met the other night who was studying for his U.S. citizenship test.
