That means NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell should make his opinion known. So should MLB Commissioner Bud Selig. The same goes for the heads of the NBA, the NHL and any other sports league that does business in Arizona.

And if Major League sports boycott AZ, then the fans should make their opinions known. Boycott those sports that boycott AZ.

I hope my governor continues to stand firm on this. Think about it. Who is really getting hurt by these boys cotting? No conventions. No “meetings”. No sporting events. I’m not going to mention any names but their initials are SEIU. The commie thugs’ members are going to really take it in the shorts. And that’s a good thing. They can’t pay their union dues if they aren’t working.

That means no MLB All-Star Game in 2011. No more Super Bowls. No more BCS Championship games. And it should mean heavy economic sanctions until the law gets repealed.

How about the federal law which the AZ law mirrors? Anything to say about THAT law, Jean-Jacques?

Unless and until there is a specific LEGAL basis for excluding Arizona for any major league event, these asshats should keep their mouths shut.

Don’t wanna got to AZ to play? Great — that is called a forfeit.

Wat to change the venue for sports events? You better have cause, else you will pay every dime, including reasonable projected revenue, to AZ and its businesses, then pay it again when you have the event in whatever liberal hellhole you move them to.

These people are dumber than dirt.

Affirmative action hire Jean-Jacques Taylor can't put down his race card for a millisecond lest he be subject to scrutiny.

The people running the NFL and MLB, and (NHL for that matter)don't give a rats ass about illegal aliens who don't buy tickets , and REAL AMERICANS, who do, and who they don't want to piss off.

Why not go all the way, Hypocrite: the commissioners should boycott the entire United States because it’s the failure of the Federal Government to uphold the rule of law that put Arizona in this position in the first place.

Hey Taylor, why don’t you take your race card and put it where the sun doesn’t shine.

Ho obviously hasn't seen the attendance stats for the Arizona Diamondbacks; no one really cares. As for football and basketball you have a hardcore following but it surely is not as big in AZ as in other cities. If the teams win they follow, if not who cares. With 70% of the people in AZ supporting the new law he is not going to get a lot of support here. Dallas had more protesters on May 1st about the new AZ law than they had in the entire state of AZ...

These mutants shouldn’t mix politics with sports. But if they really want to ruin the Arizona economy simply because they believe laws should be upheld, then they can send the California Democratic legislature to run the state. They’ll ruin Arizona in no time.

I wonder if this twit understands that by federal law many of the players who take part in the events he’s talking about must have “papers” (more accurately their green cards) with them no matter where they go within the US borders, and must present them to prove their status when required by the authorities - next he’ll want to ban all sporting contests held in this “racist” country....

So the sports world has no problem going to Beijing for the Olympics but won’t go to Arizona. Makes sense to me.

Exhibit 1 for why the Dallas Morning News circulation is down 21% in the latest survey

they only distibute 260,000 papers these days which is pretty small considering the DFW metroplex size

And Arizona should cease producing electricity and water to any state that participates in the conspiracy. If not applicable, tax athletes from outide Arizona 100% of their salaries. If Arizona is further harassed and penalized, file criminal charges.

How about a baseball league (6) comprised of Arizona, Atlanta, the two Florida teams and the two Texas teams? Or football (10) - Arizona, Atlanta, Carolina, New Orleans, Tennessee, three Florida teams and two Texas teams. Or basketball (11) - Phoenix, Atlanta, Charlotte, Memphis, New Orleans, Oklahoma City, two Florida teams and three Texas teams. Or Hockey (7) - Phoenix, Atlanta, Nashville, two Florida teams and Dallas.
