Popular speech and political dissent have proved troublesome to President Barack Obama since the very beginning of his term in office. The Obama Administration began waging war on the minority of media outlets that did not worship at his altar immediately after he was sworn in. Just three days into his presidency Obama warned Congressional Republicans against listening to radio host Rush Limbaugh.

And didn’t he knuckle under when protests started about Sinclair Broadcasting airing Stolen Valor?

Actually, broadcasters were threatened long before Obama was elected. As long as the FCC is not a truly independent regulatory agency, it can and WILL be used for political censoring purposes.
Articles referring to “Kenyan-born” were being scrubbed as early as 2007 and some that could be found in early 2008 disappeared by the time of the party conventions.
One can still find magazines and newspapers in Africa whose archives contain articles which clearly state that Barak Hussein Obama II was born in Kenya.
