My view is grandpa Dunham, a genuine leftist, started it all out by hooking the young Illegal up with Frank Marshal Davis, who came from the Chicago communist cabal. Davis became the Illegal's first controller and passed him on to other, even more virulent, persons who hooked up with him at Columbia (how did the Illegal finance that education) and he was then hooked up with Ayers who became, and probably remains, his controller.

Read this article carefully; it contains two vital points:

1) In the time between when the Illegal graduated from Columbia and when he went to Harvard Law, he went to the elder Ayres’ house to thank them for contributing to his education. Bill Ayers’ father was the chairman of Commonwealth Edison and, thus, able to finance the Illegal’s education. Why would he do that for an unknown individual from far off Hawaii and how did he come to know that individual? The most likely explanation is the elder Ayres was a sleeper part of Chicago’s communist cabal and was hooked up with the Illegal by Frank Marshal Davis, the old Chicago communist.

2) Mrs. Ayres, Bill Ayres’ mother, remarked that the Illegal was “from Kenya,” further supporting the hypothesis that the Illegal is not a natural born American and, quite possibly, not even a citizen.
