Just photos Several deaths through out all 3 states

We just went through epic flooding here in Austell, GA last September. I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. Prayers for y’all.
Paper is reporting 5 deaths so far across 3 states I think. Round 2 tonight expected.
I’m not trying to be a total doomsayer, but we’re (Montana) on the uphill side of the storms that caused these heavy t’storm/tornado events, weather here has been more like March than May (HIGH winds, rain/snow, low temps) for the past week and I’m seeing still more of the big Northern Pacific storms headed our way out of Siberia.

I’m praying I’m wrong, but you might be in for much more than a couple of rounds of this stuff.
Radar shows more coming our way later, no red in it so far. We get a lot of rain in May normally, but not this much. Millington flooded in 1989 badly, this is worse than the ‘89 flood.
Those 5 deaths all occurred in Tennessee, not across three states. Most of them were in middle Tennessee.
I remember when I was living in Stamford, CT in 2007, something had caused a river or channel or something to back up, and as a result the Rippowam River (normally really small) had overflowed to at least 8ft high, and where there were homes on the riverbed, the water was at least 30ft wide.
My first flood and it was interesting.
Zot @ 8.
Hey Gail, here we are flooding something uncommon. I am isolated because the creeks East and West of me are out of the banks.>10 feet deep. I went out earlier and 350 between Corinth and Iuka is just now starting to get tedious...the water is over the road in three places. A tornado went thru Pocohontas early this morning around 3:30am and then thru Selmer. Amazing...It is still torrential raining.

I didn’t read the paper, no time before church, so I said across the 3 states. 1 lady in my son’s trailer park died of a heart attack. Navy Base in Millington is underwater!
We are high and dry on a hill in Scenic Hills. Lost the phone lines for a few ours and the streets along the side are broken loose in big chunks a few tree limbs down but no major damage. Most of it was in Millington and Mid Town. Apparently a pumping station went down for Mid Town.
Ariel view of the Navy Base is horrible.
Took out a whole bunch of bridges.
I was in London for a fore-night and when I came through customs in Philly, the official told me he hoped I still had a house.
I had no idea what he was talking about and thought he was joking until I got home.
BTW I still had a house but a couple of trees on the property got hit by lightning.
They found another person dead in a car on I-24 near Bell Road in Nashville. He drowned in the flood. Before all is said and done, we will have received 20 inches of rain the past 30 hours.
This is the second time we’ve had this type of flooding in the Memphis area since 1989.

Lot of damage in Nashville too according to my step-daughter who lives in Syamrna. All 3 states were hard hit. But when you look at the photos in today’s Commic Appeal, besides the first responders it was neighbor helping neighbor regardless of skin color.
