You would be right ... if the will is still there. But that’s why they’ve been brainwashing our children/grandchildren for decades - to achieve the “tyranny of the weak”.
Now, all they need to do is wait for enough geezers to die off and this once great country will fall without a whimper.
Time is not on their side. The state of Mexico is in all out collapse. Wont survive much longer intact. With the flow of labor cash back into Mexico being squeezed, the Federalis will lose to the drug lords. Inflowing drug money will be greater then inflowing labor stipends. What the drug lords have planned for Mexico is probably an entirely different story. Since the US no longer has the will to defend its border regions, the US will not come to the aid of a collapsing Mexico. It will be up to the states to stop the millions of refugees that will be looking to leave the failed state of Mexico. Texas and Arizona should come out okay. California and New Mexico are lost causes.
