He did say it because I heard it. I actually was a bit upset maybe a bit sad I love birds and I dont think Rush
realized it sounded a bit callous. Actually I spoke to my husband on the phone today and I mentioned what I heard Rush say on his program today. When I heard Michael mention it realized I might not have been the only one who was taken aback. I still love Rush :)
Most of us here lost respect for Rush after he spent 8 years carrying water for the softball socialist.
.... and now we’re dealing with the hardball Marxist.....
I frequently find Rush’s attempts at humor (his skits and parodies and parody songs, etc) to be very lacking.
He should stick to opining about news events and leave comedy to Leno, the glasses guy, and Conan [primarily because I don’t watch any of them :)].
