Founders” Fridays — Love it! What a great idea. Of course, now I have 2 more books I have to read.

He is. And the death threats must have increased. Did you hear him last night saying stuff like this into the camera? “I am not suicidal...I am a good driver...I just had my brakes checked.”
I keep telling myself that they won’t off him because they don’t want to create a martyr. I hope I am right.
I’m digging for info on Adams and its really pretty hard to find much. He really is one of our least known founders.
I caught that “30% fought with the British”...just like the 30% that currently stand with the Progressives...the parallels are intriguing...
Interesting that the British wrote that Adams was likely to lead others to violence despite the fact that he didn’t really want a war and asked that others refrain from violence. They pointed to the Boston Tea party as evidence despite the fact that no one was harmed and only the tea was destroyed.
Very interesting parallels indeed.

Screw the 30% progressives. They are wimps, and unarmed. We are not, and we are holding all the weapons.
...I always liked the second quote. I’m tired, weary, and a minority of one individual, with a bunch of you sick, twisted, freaks. The only thing I can scrape together sometimes is IRATE, and it makes me feel good!!!

Seems a mention on Glenn's show translates to best-seller status overnight...authors should be lining up at the door to make an appearance on Glenn's show...
I can't think of ANY other television personality outside of Orca who can affect book sales in such a manner. This is a well-educated audience.
Shows like yesterday’s always send me off on my own search for history. Adams is pretty unknown beyond his name.
The saddest thing about our founders is the way history has been twisted to portray them as greedy rich white slave rapists. It serves no good purpose other than to put the entire focus on slavery. While searching yesterday, one of the first things I found was a race baiter’s book claiming that Adams said he wouldn’t allow a negro to live in his home. The reality is that Adams wouldn’t allow the “negro” (Surrey) to live in his home as a slave.
Things might be very different if more blacks were willing to recognize the willing participation of their ancestors. There needs to be far less concentration on slavery and more concentration on men like Crispus Attucks, the men who died at Lexington, the men who rode with Paul Revere etc.

Glenn played the audio of the President, who thought it'd be a good idea to wander off prompter for a few moments. They should know it's a bad idea because every time this President wanders off prompter, he can't go more than 10 seconds without saying something overtly Marxist. This time, he wandered off mere seconds before saying “at a certain point, you've made enough money.” Salary caps! That sounds American. ( Transcript, Insider Audio)
