How can the party “make room for centrists like Mr. Crist” when the bastard leaves the party if it looks like he’d lose the primary?!

The next steps in the Crist drama:

a. since he’s already reached out to the democrats, they’ll approach Meek about dropping out.

b. Crist, like Liebermann, will announce that he will “caucus” with the democrats.

c. Meek’s funding will dry up and he’ll be forced to give it up.

Crist will be proven not to be the conservative he tried to pretend to be.

Conservatives are always asked to get in line and support the “mainstream” “moderate” GOP nominee even though we disagree with their positions. “Do it for the good of the party!” “Do it or else the democrat will win!” But when the winning nominee is a conservative, look what the liberal republicans and rinos do. They NEVER sacrifice their beliefs for the “good of the party”. In fact, they often work to defeat the conservatives and help the democrat win.

Gilcrest (MD-1) Lost to Harris in primary, ended up endorsing the democrat.

Scuzzyfava (NY-23) Withdrew from race, ended up endorsing the democrat.

Crist (FL) Withdrew from GOP primary and now is running as an independent.
