After a week of nice dry weather, we fianlly got some rain last night (and WIND!)

This is looking north into my neighbor's field.  Look in that far tree line and you can spot their house a mile or so away.

The metal pipe at the bottom finally snapped off due to fatigue.

 

My 'hill at the back of the property' is about 3 feet high  (behind my white van).  

I doubt that the veiw from there will be ANYTHING like that seen from UB's place!   (Well; one COULD see the goats - if they were inclined to get their dainty little feet wet!)

Ooo...looks so pretty and green. What a nice place to live.

I do have to say though, that when I lived in central Texas I really got homesick for the desert....when traveling down the interstate back to New Mexico, I could look out and see for hundreds of miles in every direction and I knew I was home.
