Let me say that I posted that “society is to blame” reasoning before I even read the first line.
I KNEW this was what the liberal would say.
THE pernicious lie at the basis of ALL STUPID IDEAS in this world:
“People are basically good and just need the right created environment in which to self-actualize and they will then act out their inherently good nature.”
I remember an old adage to the general effect that...
"Blaming someone else puts you in a prison and gives that other person the key.""But the very act of accepting personal responsibility for a problem is an act of such bravery that fate hands you the key to your prison door."
