I’m afraid the Texas of lore is not the same Texas. At least not in the greater Houston area.

“Maybe we need a one-term Bill White as governor of Texas to wake everybody up.”
Sounds like you may have been one of the elect-Obama-for-one-term voters who wanted to “wake everybody up.”
How’d that workout, Einstein?

“Start A Recall. That will send the shivers.”
Yeah, that will really send the “shivers” since Texas has no recall statute.
Perry must really be shaking in his coyote-killin’ boots.

Maybe we need a one-term Bill White as governor of Texas to wake everybody up.
We don't have time to waste voting for a candidate designed to teach lessons. Some people will never learn. Our rights are eroding daily. If we even get to vote this Nov. we better make a sound united decision.

Arizona has certainly found a way to out the democrats in sheep’s clothing. Good work, if nothing but that is accomplished.

Nothing. Little Ricky has always been a moderate. In fact, it hasn’t been all that many years since he was a democrat.
I am sick of his pandering. He has never been serious about protecting our border. Hell, he hasn’t even led on the issue of requiring IDs to vote here.
Please, no one ever suggest that this progressive RINO would be a good president. He is a douchebag.

Rick "Goodhair" Perry will need a strong and close look before I pull the lever for him. And him taking a turn back towards his usual left of center political position may well cause me to vote for "the other guy" this next general election in hopes of being rid of his sorry country club RINO azz. Keep it up Rick.

More cowtowing to the hispanic vote. When will they just say enough! Either become americans or get the hell out.

You’re OK with turning Texas blue?
I mean, bitching is bitching, but people like you is why the USA IS NOW BLUE.

He probably got a few calls from the Bushes. They appear to hold a lot of sway in Tx.
To: Steelfish
He won the Republican primary, so now he can coast for another 4 years. Governor Perry a.k.a. Governor Dolittle!

He must be betting on amnesty.
Good point. He's deceptive and has no b^lls to do the right thing. No more pre-election talk of succeeding?

A lot of TX freepers seem to think our lege will hand him a version of the AZ bill in January and he’ll sign it.
I don’t see that happening, but ????? One can hope.

Well, there are millions of illegals in Texas, so it would seem you’re correct.
