Ted Nugent: Sarah Palin [Time Magazine's 2010 Time 100]
Time Magazine ^ | April 29, 2010 | Ted Nugent

Posted on 04/29/2010 5:05:07 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

If Sarah Palin played a loud, grinding instrument, she would be in my band. The independent patriotic spirit, attitude and soul of our forefathers are alive and well in Sarah. In the way she lives, what she says and how she dedicates herself to make America better in these interesting times, she represents the good, while exposing the bad and ugly. She embraces the critical duty of we the people by participating in this glorious experiment in self-government. The tsunami of support proves that Sarah, 46, represents what many Americans know to be common and sensible. Her rugged individualism, self-reliance and a herculean work ethic resonate now more than ever in a country spinning away from these basics that made the U.S.A. the last best place.(continued)

Ted and Sarah are two of my favorite people.

Reading the leftie coniption fits below the article as lots of fun too. As Rush says, the left will always tell you what they fear.

Want to know what gives me a tingle up my leg... Sarah and Ted 2012! Ted and the boys could play at the inauguration... we could have a Bassmaster Classic weigh in at the White House... and hussein’s bowling alley could be ripped out and a shooting range put in... pit BBQ's on the front lawn... and Ted would b!tch slap harry reid and then write a song about it... man I am getting a 40,000 volt tingle up my leg!

Be sure to look up the page on Glenn Beck, who is also listed as a leader. Written by Sarah.

I’m still astounded that SNL hasn’t taken up Sarah and Glenn’s offer to co-host the show. The ratings would be off the charts.

How about Ted making a run for the Kay Bailey Hutchison Senate seat coming up now that she isn't going to be Governor.

Hey, I can dream. Just sayin.

I still can’t figure out why people, even Conservatives, say that she is not qualified to be President....or....that she is unelectable.

I still can’t figure out why people, even Conservatives, say that she is not qualified to be President....or....that she is unelectable.

That's because they are afraid she is (electable). Their fears are well-founded as she bears the truth as best she can, which to some sounds too simple, too uncultured, too un-IVY league.

Truth is often very easy such as: "Don't touch that, you'll get burned!" The Left would take a different approach: "You have a right to touch something, and if you get burned, you can go to a hospital for care- something we all pay for and utilize as a 'community'".

What the Obambi administration will teach us is that wisdom from elders means nothing and that taking 'risks' with other people's money may or may not get you burned, but if it does, society (the collective) will make the 'boo-boo' alright.

Sarah is an adult and would avoid these trials with the wisdom that she has gained through life. It would be totally out of character for her to wander into a casino and put America's treasure on the Pass Line hoping for a Seven on the come-out roll the way Obysmal has.

Gambling can be fun but not if it bankrupts your country. Obungler went all-in on Health Care Destruction (for a year) and will lose his chip stack in November. A lot of Dems won't want to be seen with a loser and will bail out (hoping to save their hides).

The guy's a loser because he doesn't know anything about Truth. His friends and associates told him there was an easier way and he believed them. That his entire foundation and core beliefs are built upon lies has yet to explode in his face- like an airbag as Captain Oblivious and his unbelted friends rear-end reality.

There'll be a lot of Dems going through the windshield come November. Thing is, they stopped being Democrats and became socialists/communists in the last fourty years. They stopped being the Party of The Little Guy and became the Party of Stalin/Marx et.all for which they should pay a price.

Sarah would make a fine President based on her instincts alone, though I see how some aren't comfortable with her, yet. What should scare the crap out of any thinking person is to realize that Obama may not even be the worst President ever elected. Though he'll likely rank forever in the top ten, imagine someone else coming later taking the top slot? Shudder.

I'd be proud to share a moose-barbecue campfire with the Palin family anytime, so long as I can shoot the moose.

Get in line, Uncle Ted.

Ted for Gov of Texas!!!!

Ted may have avoided drugs and alcohol but he had one vice during the 70s that will forever keep him out of elective office.

Which didn't you approve- that Sarah would make a fine President or that Obama may not be the worst yet to come?

One lives a life with values very much in common with Americans- the other promotes values common to socialists and communists in a minor-league fashion, his 'pitch' alone an invitation for any collectivist coach to send in the relief.
