I will never understand what the people of FL ever saw in Crist anyway; Bob Graham crushed him for the Senate in 1998.

Also, I don’t understand what the people of AZ ever saw in John McPain. Even the Reagans had early reservations about him.

And I don’t know what the CT people see in Dodd and Lieberman either.

The list of such is endless.

CT is a liberal Dem/blue collar populist state, especially in the Hartford/New Haven/New London areas. The suburban communities in Fairfield County near New York, oddly enough, are mixed (Westport, Norfolk, Bridgeport being Dem, Darien, Ridgefield, and Fairfield being GOP, with Greenwich being a swing area).
