BOSTON -- A Massachusetts state representative and a conservative talk show host in the Hub are squaring off after the state rep blasted the radio personality in an obscenity-laced e-mail Thursday.
"Michael Graham is a (expletive deleted)," State Rep. David Torrisi, a North Andover Democrat wrote in an e-mail response to a Graham show producer's request to be on the talk show. "He can go (expletive deleted) himself for all I care."
Torrisi, who was being invited on the show to discuss his opposition to a proposal to ban state benefits for illegal immigrants, later told Statehouse News Service he regretted his choice of words, but still felt the same about 96.9 talk show host Michael Graham.

Yes and they’re so arrogant...they claim they shouldn’t go on a talk radio show to defend their position because we’re all a bunch of yahoos, the issue is more complicated than people
think, etc. The reality is they don’t want to face people
with an opposing view, even in civil debate.

Uh, so asking a state representative to discuss an issue
on the radio for 8 minutes can stir up said representative
to reply with an obscenity laced tirade? I guess he does

Wow, he couldn’t just say he disagrees with the man and declined the invitation? Or just decline citing other commitments?
Why should a liberal run the risk of debating when he can go to one of the vast preponderance of friendly media outlets and LIE with imputinity and without fear of having your lie challenged?

My favorite moment was during the Iraq war when Laura Ingraham had a lawyer on from a group called “Lawyers Against the War”. Laura asked him politely whether or not we were better off with Saddam out of power. He refused to answer.
Asked again, refused again, then hung up...and when Laura’s
producer called him back he swore at the producer and hung up. Can’t answer a simple question, and flees when pressed
