Why are they using the older “Flag of the German Empire” (black-white-red tricolor w/ Iron Cross) instead of the Nazi Swastika flag?

“...instead of the Nazi Swastika flag?”

Because the guy who put this together didn’t want to have to pay royalty fees to the Democrat party for using one of their registered trademarks!

The Nazi banner is outlawed in many European nations. Facebook is a website with an international customer base so the person who initiated the page probably wanted as wide as an audience as possible.

Factually, Singapore, which is mentioned on the Facebook page, did not become a city-state until well after the war. It was part of the Malayan colony.

My guess is that the swastika may set off filters designed to stop neo Nazis from posting so they went with a flag that would be allowed.

probably being polite. given the swastika is illegal min germany, how do the germans prevent internet swastikas? all model kits don’t have swatiskas on their decals or cover art. fortunately after market firms make them.

I wonder if they worried about it being taken down. Facebook is very PC, except when it comes to conservatives or whites of course. Black Panther crap can be all over the place, but no Nazi or KKK
