Compared to other nations farther south, Mexico is prosperous. They have oil, they have tourism and as a result, they have jobs. But if you look at a map, illegal immigrants from most Latin American countries (Venezuela, Colombia, Honduras, Ecuador, Panama, Nicaragua, etc.) have to go through Mexico to get to the United States.
So on their southern border, Mexico has the same problem we have. Poetic, isn't it?
