Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush is speaking out against the new hard-line immigration law in Arizona, becoming the first prominent national Republican to do so.
"I think it creates unintended consequences," he said in a telephone interview with POLITICO Tuesday. "It's difficult for me to imagine how you're going to enforce this law. It places a significant burden on local law enforcement and you have civil liberties issues that are significant as well."

Most hispanic citizens in AZ support the law.
Its not about race.
Anyone who opposes this is an enemy of America.

Jeb Bush just ended any chance he had at winning an election anywhere.

Just another reminder of why Jeb Bush won't be president.

Rubio is also a Bush puppet. I guess Jeb and Rubio did not realize the AZ law is the SAME as federal law. No more Bushes and no Rubio. Please Tea Party - find a candidate for FL.

Jeb must read the NY Times ....He might expect that his state will be hurt by some of those leaving Arizona.

Considering that Jeb’s wife is Hispanic (Cuban, I believe) what would you expect.

Jeb is married to a Mexican and the Bush's have deep ties to Mexico. Probably why Geo. W. was for amnesty. They just can't seem to get their minds around the unintended consequences of illegals.
However, Jeb has no trouble seeing the unintended consequences of a law made in a desperate bid to keep Arizonians safe and to keep their law enforcement, hospitals, all social services, from going broke.
This is Politico. They HAD to find a Repub to muddy the waters.

Read Rove’s comments on another thread...I guess the Rinos have been given their talking points.

and so we see, not even Jeb Bush has bothered to read the law before opening his mouth and inserting both feet

I have to agree. Does Jeb saying this really surprise anyone? I know it doesn’t me, I remember the last immigration bill, and how contentious it was. We were called a lot of names for opposing it too. That whole episode was very enlightening, and extremely disappointing.

What burden?
This law gives law enforcement the legal backing to do what they have been trying to do for years.
