"As a band of noisy nurses derided her as "Queen Meg," Republican gubernatorial front-runner Meg Whitman brought a quartet of GOP heavy-hitters to the Peninsula on Friday night to raise a half-million dollars for her candidacy.
U.S. Sen. John McCain of Arizona, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and former Secretary of State George Shultz praised the former eBay CEO as a smart and pragmatic woman who would keep California from plunging over a cliff.
"She can get the job done," said Shultz, now a fellow at Stanford's Hoover Institution."

Well I have nothing further to say after your post.
The republican governor choices in this primary are not good. Whitman and Poizner are both RINOs. Naritelli is brand-spanking-new to politics and wants to start at the top of the state ladder. But, I might vote in the primary for Naritelli . . . mostly because I-Caucus supports him. Do I think he will carry the primary? No. But what else to do. Any suggestions from my fellow Californians?

I can not stand McPOS but AZ should be electing conservatives as it is a conservative states not a liberal state tolerating a RINO.
I can not stand gun grabbers or abortion lovers either but this is ca. If the conservative states would vote for conservatives the liberals and RINO’s in CA would not be able to get away with what they do. Second Amendment would be followed via the federal constitution and row v wade would be gone.
Oh well I will vote as conservative as I can in the primary, donate $ to conservatives in other states and pray. But in the end I will vote for the person that will do less damage to my country (state), my God and my family.

California used to be a fairly dependable Republican and conservative State.....after all what other state can say they elected Ronald Reagan for Governor? And not just once, but twice! Emmigration ruined any chance of that happening again for anyone of RR’s calibre.....
