At the point where the bereaved were to go up to the front and place a miner’s helmet on the crosses representing their lost loved one, The Won was positioned to shake hands and/or hug them as they passed. A few did at first, but then they began to briskly walk past him or just walk the other way. Completely blowing him off! They knew why he was there and they weren’t about to give him his “touching” photo-op.

At one point I saw a pair of young women, teens(?) literally run past him to avoid him. I know it ain’t proper, but that made me chuckle.
‘Bammy’s ire was difficult for him to conceal. He was clearly getting pi$$ed.
